Yes! You have up until October 18 to make session changes or additions before the conference. Email email@example.com with the session that you want to change and the new session you would like instead. If you are adding a session (i.e. Wednesday pre-conference seminar) or Continuing Education credits be sure to also authorize ATSA to charge the appropriate fee. If there is space in the session you want to attend we will make the change, charge the fee if appropriate, and email a receipt to you as soon as possible. We'll also let you know if that session has reached capacity and the change is not possible to make.
Look for the Door Monitors at the door of the session that you would prefer to attend 10 minutes before the session starts. If there are available, unsold seats the Door Monitor will have "door tickets". Each door ticket represents an empty, unsold seat. If the door monitor has a ticket you may take one and go inside. If you are registered for CEs remember to get your name badge scanned at the door on the way in! The scan will update your registration so that the appropriate CE survey will appear in your post-conference record.
If the door monitor does not have a ticket, that session has sold out - even if there are empty seats. The empty seat may mean someone is on their way and it won't be empty for long! The ATSA staff updates session capacities with each registration and will do their best to accomodate the needs of each attendee, however, strict fire marshal laws prohibit anyone from entering a room once it has reached its maximum capacity.
Yes! Pre-registering for CEs saves you money and time, but if you find that you need register for CEs at the conference just visit the ATSA Registration booth. You will only need to pay the onsite CE fee ($55.00 US) and have your name badge scanned at the door of each session's room that you attend. All attendees that have registered for Continuing Education credits before and during the conference will be emailed a few days following the conference with a link to access surveys.
Evaluating speakers is an important way to ensure content and presentation quality. The ATSA conference speakers eagerly await the survey reports after conference and do take the feeback into account when considering their submissions for the following year. Please take a moment to review your session and give thoughtful, constructive feedback. We're counting on everyone to help us provide the content that you want most!
Any reservation addition needs to be made before October 18. If you are attending either a full day or two half-day pre-conference seminars on Wednesday please either reply to your previously emailed confirmation or email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the reservation list. We are not able to add reservations to this list after October 18 - especially when we are at the conference.
